Not even California's wildfires could stop Cindy and Erick's wedding in Bass Lake. The ceremony was held at St. Dominic Savio Church and the reception was at The Pines Resort. It only made sense that these two were married so close to Yosemite since Yosemite is where Erick had proposed and even where they both went on their honeymoon -- that's right, these two hiked Half Dome one day after their wedding!
This wedding perfectly embodied Cindy and Erick from the Bright Eyes processional song, National Forest postcard center pieces, and Japanese tea/Guatemalan coffee favors.
The photo booth was set up without a backdrop to utilize the venue's rock wall and we had strung up floral garland to match the nature themes.
Our highlight from the wedding was the speeches. Erick's sister had rolled out a speech scroll full of embarrassing stories and Cindy's father had recounted the day that Erick had asked for Cindy's had in marriage.
This was such an intimate and heartfelt wedding, we'd expect nothing less from these two. We're so happy to have been a part of their special day and cannot wait to see the adventures that they will go on next. Congratulations Cindy and Erick!
