I know what you're thinking, who in their right minds would ever agree to do a photo shoot in 100 degree weather? I guess you'll have to ask Ize and Ezra yourselves because these two made this sweltering afternoon look like a serene time. What you won't see in these photos are the struggles of learning how to paddle in the boats as well as all the water/towel breaks.
We had selected the Lafayette Reservoir because I fell in love with the idea of renting boats to match the vibes from The Notebook. The goal was to shoot during golden hour to get that even and soft light, but the boat rentals were closing three hours prior, so we opted for some bright and airy shots instead. Ize and Ezra were so natural in front of the camera and even brought their own soundtrack to play while shooting!
